Mr. Quick, Aug. 25--Clue #2: Close to a lighthouse, Whalehead Club, wild ponies on the beach

Going by my last guess of Cape Henry, VA , I think that I am correct so far because I have been there many times and there is old cape henry light house there . But there is the currituck beach light house in corolla , north carolina , and you always see wild ponies on the beach there . so i think it could be either one of these two .

i googled places close to virginia beach that are dangerous for ships and good for vacations , and the one that made the most since would be cape henry, virginia . and i am pretty sure that when you mean that it is a short trip by beach that it is on atlantic avenue. so my guess is Cape Henry, VA.

August 17 place clue 2: Hostfest, pronounced "whose-fest," north state from Sturgis 2009, Teddy Roosevelt Nat'l Park, buffalo, Mandan Indian

His national park is in Medora, ND . and the Sturgis biker rally is held here , and the winner receives the buffalo bike chip. also , the hostfest is north America's largest Scandinavian festival , which is held in North Dakota .

August 17 place clue 1: Farming is the big thing in this Midwestern state. I can almost see Canada from here. Louis and Clark wintered here.

when Louis and Clark were exploring it wasn't really state . the state today is North Dakota and back then it was known as Fort Mandan. also , North Dakota is a big farming Midwestern state .

August 11 place..Clue 2: Cirque de Soleil, Penn and Teller, Hoover Dam..if you dont know it by now I dont know what else to add..

i am pretty sure my original guess of las vegas , nevada was correct because each of these are located there .

Place August 11: Clue ONE: desert, hot, strip, pyramid, in the western U.S., one of the "Vacation" movies

it seems like vegas to me . nevada is a hot desert and there is a pyramid in the luxor hotel on the stip of all the hotels and casinos . so my guess is las vegas , nevada .

Mr. Q Clue 2: One of the oldest colleges in America, the "Harvard of the South". Oldest permanent English settlement in America is nearby.

the 2nd oldest college of America is William and Mary , and it is nearby to Jamestown . So i am pretty sure my first guess was correct .

Mr. Quick Place Clue 1: Not too far from VB; named for royalty who served, starting in 1689, also a Tribe is important

i googled royalty of 1689 , and it brought to pictures of William and Mary , which is pretty close to here . now the school's mascot is the tribe instead of the Indians , so it is a "Tribe".

Mr. Q-Clue 2: $12 toll to get there, camping, fishing, route 13, still in Va...sorry for the delay, still figuring out how to Twitter.

Must have gone across the Chesapeake Bay-Bridge tunnel and is somewhere one the eastern shore. Maybe at Cherrystone? Hopefully he will be more descriptive with the clues for now on.

Mr. Quick--Surrounded by water...on 2 sides, anyway. The place name is a matter of perspective, based on where you are standing.

Right now i truly have no idea except for the fact that he is on a peninsula.

Kimchi is a Korean pickled cabbage, so i am keeping my guess for somewhere in Korea. And when I goggled Korean nuclear missiles, it brought me to information about North Korea. Also, i copied and pasted the symbols into a translator it didn't tell me what they meant just that it was Korean.

Place 4" Clue 1: I am not in the United States, I can see pagodas and a lot of industry. THis country is one of the "4 dragons" , Hangul

The four dragons are Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. Hangul is the Korean language, and that is not in the United States. Also, you mentioned a lot of industries, so i assume it is the capitol of Korea. The capitol of Korea is Seoul, and that is my first guess for place 4.

induction day, plebes, Annapolis

Plebes are what they call freshman at the Naval academy, in Annapolis, Maryland. Induction day is at the end of June or the beginning of July in Annapolis. Since you gave us Annapolis, I am not really sure what we are supposed to be looking for.

blue and gold, in the U.S., capital location

First, I realized that blue and gold are colors of the U.S. naval academy. And the academy is near the U.S. capital. Also, the naval academy is in Annapolis, which is the capital of Maryland. So, my first guess for place three is Annapolis, Maryland.

Place 2: Clue 2: Blue and Orange, Thomas Jefferson, Cavaliers (I think you can pretty much guess this one)

The University of Virginia is in Charlottesville, Virginia, so I am going to keep that as my educated guess to where Mrs. Mervine is for her second location.

Place 2: Clue 1: 3rd, 3 hours, in the state of Virginia, wineries close by

Having no idea what this clue meant, I googled "close wineries" and i site for The Inn at Monticello came up. I clicked on it and learned that our THIRD president Thomas Jefferson owned it, and that about 15 miles north of the Inn, on Route 231, lies Keswick Vineyards. This is in Charlottesville, Virginia, so that is my guess to where Mrs. Mervine is.

Trip 1 Clue 2: I am in a city named after a president who's wife's maiden name was Todd. Go RED!! 3 states down.

To start off, President Lincoln's wife was Mary Todd Lincoln, so it would be a city named after Abraham Lincoln. Also, the NEBRASKA HUSKERS' cheer is GO BIG REDS. So that leads me to still believe that Mrs. Mervine is in Nebraska. Then, i looked at a United States map, and went three states down from Nebraska, which is Texas, and there is a Lincoln, Texas. There is also a Lincoln, Nebraska, so I think I am going to guess that Mrs. Mervine is in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States.

TRIP 1-CLUE 1: beef, corn, landlocked, U.S., baseball

So i first looked up landlocked , because i had no idea what it meant, and it means completely surrounded by land. So, it most likely means it is in the midwest. Then, I looked up corn and cattle in a Search Engine and it brought me to a Nebraska Farm Site. Next, I searched Nebraska baseball, and it brought me to the NEBRASKA HUSKERS site. Going by this my guess is Mrs. Mervine is somewhere in Nebraska, U.S. of course.
